When the doll starts running for the window, you can click on the doll and it gets it going in the opposite direction. So essentially you direct the doll towards your window. You can't click on it too many times though so make then count.

If it runs away is there another place you can find it or do you have to recreate the doll?

I believe you have to create another doll.
