Question for The Sims 3

I download a house from the exchange where you can search what kind of house you want, and when it says downloaded I load my family up and try to move them out and the house isnt in the moving thing it says (nothing with the same file kind of thing)
But I know it's been downloaded and I love this house but I can't move my people into it please help.?
