Question for Call of Duty: Black Ops

After fighting the LZ the next stage is to Destroy the ZSU gun!! Should i be in total darkness or has the game crashed or something ???

My brother told me about something like this. The best solution is restart the level. I know it sucks. Don't be in the same place when you destroy it. Plant the C4, get out of the building, then blow it up.
