Question for Halo 2

What is a shadow it says in the vehicle list that supercheat posted. I'm not sure but I think it's a spectre but I really want to be sure. How many times do you play as a spartan and an elite? Im playing as the elite for the second time.

Please tell me that you don't fight that brown (kind of looks like poop) big thing that carries the arbiter in the first cutscene thing. And if I have to please tell me the best way to kill them and how strong they are.

Please answer these questions. I am very grateful to those who answer.

I thought the same thing, but shadows are the vehicles that carry ghosts and have a turrent. I have only seen them on level 3. You play as the Arbiter for 6 levels and the Chief for 8 if you count the armory.Those dudes are the brutes. They are very tough. The best way to kill them is with a carbine. It takes 2 headshots. 1 to take off their helmets and 2 to kill. If you don't get headshots it'll take about 5. Of course you could get an instant kill by meleeing them in the back.Which is easy if you use the Arbiters active camouflage.

The Shadow must be some kind of Covenant vehicle that is seen in the Campain mode, but is unusable. You play as a Spartan through levels: Armory, Cairo Station, Outskirts, Metropolis, Delta Halo, Regret, Gravemind, and High Charity. You play as the Arbitor in the levels: The Arbitor, Oracle, Sacred Icon, Quarantine Zone, Uprising, and The Great Journey. (did I get them all? Whew...)

What brown thing are you talking about? Do you mean the Flood? (yes, you do fight the flood later on. The best way to kill them is either the sword or the brute shot/rocket launcher.) Or are you talking about Gravemind? If you are, then the answer is no, you don't fight Gravemind.

The shadow is the covenant vehicle that carries you to the first elite level. The spectre is the covenant vehicle that carries 1 driver, 2 passengers and 1 gunner. 7 levels as the master chief and 7 as the Arbiter (elite). You do fight the big brown type things. They are called Brutes (read the manual!) and are tough nuts to crack. To beat them you need 2 plasma rifles or 2 needlers, then shoot till they drop. Sometimes they will drop their weapons and charge at you like a Gorilla (you'll see what I mean). Then you just hit them like mad with the melee attack.
