No. You are fighting only with the marines. There are no other spartans in one-player campaign mode.

No all the other spartans were killed by the Covenant on the space station reach before the 1st Halo.

There is a previouse Halo, I have been told to the snes. It is about the forerunners and how the Flood was discovered.

you are mistaken i dont know where you got that info but there are tons of spartans still running around they just arent introduced
