Question for Halo 2

What is the deal with that big flood, is it the flood commander, and if it is, why do the flood still attack you, they should become your allies.

I don't think that is a flood, it's just a monster living deep underneath halo

That thing didn't control their minds. It's a big sack that holds bodies. Living creatures are taken there, put inside, and after time, they transform.

Actually it is known as Gravemind. He appears to be the central concisnous of the flood. Anyway, infection forms (the little things that hop on you) turn things into Flood.

Well I think Gravemind was some sort of Flood. Remember when he was turning the Prophet of Regret into a Flood?

Either that or he was absorbing the Prophet of Regret for information or something like that...

And if he is not Flood, then why is he on Halo and is so obsessed with activating Halo? ...

Or was he obsessed with stopping Halo from being activated? I don't know...

What I'm confused about is that he got onto High Charity.

How did he do that!
