Question for Halo 2

Can't get past the big elevator or Platform whatever you want to call it. On the multiplayer, when it goes down the door will not open. Tried starting the level over, and going back to the checkpoint. We have got nothing.

Please help??? (none of the doors will open where that platform is).

Maybe you need to kill more people.

I think you need to be a little more specific before anyone can help you. There are elevators in almost every level.
