World of Warcraft is a massively multiplayer online role playing game. World of Warcraft, or WoW, is a community of gamers 11 million strong. It costs $15 per month. This game is the most populated, and arguably the best, MMORPG out there. You have the choice of 9 classes (and can unlock a death knight at 55 provided you have Wrath of the Lich King) and 10 races. You begin your story as a level 1 but you can go on quests, slay bosses within the depths of dungeons, and become proficient in professions.
The graphics are not phenomenal, but on the highest level of graphics and the best resolution, they are quite good. They are cartoony, and not realistic. The graphics are pleasing to the eye. When at max settings, the graphics are not choppy in the least bit.
The sound in World of Warcraft is great. There is epic classical music in each region of the game conducted by professionals. The voice acting is also remarkable and the voice acting truly captures the personality of the characters in the lore. The music is well done and the voice acting is great.
The gameplay is arguably the best there is on MMO standards. WoW is the most populated MMO. There are so many options within the game, horde or alliance, your class, your race. You can work up factions, conquer end game dungeons, complete quests, complete achievements, work for titles, level up professions, and much more.
World of Warcraft is perhaps once of the most lasting games there are. You can play WoW for 100 days collectively and still not be bored of it in the least. Even if you manage to obtain the best armor, max out all factions, and get every achievement with one class, then there are still many more classes to play.
World of Warcraft is a phenomenal game, very well made. This game is recommended to anyone of any age. The player base is great and there is something for everyone, whether you're casual or hardcore. This game cannot be given anything shy of a 10 as it is simply amazing.
