You have to go in Paint Mode and paint the podium until it shows a checkmark for the task. Hope this helped! Sorry if it didn't.
You hav 2 add 4 apples on 2 the podium check you're backpack thingy when you're in the workshop and click on the red apple. HOPE THIS HELPS!

it is not saying you dont HAVE them, it is saying you havent USED them yet.

I know this game is old now, but it's still a good one to play.
So when you're in your workshop and you're working on the podium, go to your backpack, click on the apple, and add it to floor near the podium. Do this four times, then when you click on tasks, you should see a check box on the podium task.
