How to Connect the Wii to a TV Using Component Video Cables

What to do:

  1. Turn off your Wii.

  2. Connect the single A/V connector on the cable to the Wii's A/V Multi Out port.

  3. Connect the red, green, and blue wires on the component cable to the matching Component In ports on your TV,connect the red and white audio wires on the component cable to the matching Audio In ports on your TV.

  4. Red: Pr/Cr (Red)
    Blue: Pb/Cb (Blue)
    Green:Y (Green)
    White: Audio Input Left (or Mono)
    Red: Audio Input Right

  5. Turn on your Wii console and press A using Wii Remote to reach the Wii Main menu and select Wii button.

  6. Select Wii Settings.

  7. Select Screen.

  8. Select Widescreen Settings.

  9. Select Standard or Widescreen then Confirm to save the changes.
