Utopia Origin an open-world survival MMORPG that is set in an anime universe where you explore a beautiful land that is full of material and resources you can collect while you learn skills that will enable you to craft it into weapons and armours, as well as build shelters to shield you from mysterious monsters that prowl during the night.
Below is a collection of hints and tips that will help you to progress in the game. These include what mode to play if you are a beginner, how to get food and cook it and what to do if you encounter multiple monsters. As well as these hints and tips we also have a mini-guide here which goes into more details on some of the tips we have below:
If you are new to the game it is advised that you select Peace mode as doing so will ensure you won’t have to worry about other players attacking. It will also enable you to explore a world, learn crafting and other skills in your own time.
One of the first things you will need to do is build a basic weapon such as a wood club which you can use to hunt for food and protect yourself from monsters. The easiest creatures to hunt are chickens which can be found in large numbers near campfires. Other sources of food that are easy to find are pigs, turtles and horses.
Make sure you craft a waterskin from leather so you are able to carry water and quench your thirst when exploring areas that have no water body nearby.
Make sure you build a campfire out of stone and wood as soon as possible so you are able to prepare food and help keep hunger at bay. The more complex the food, the faster the hunger bar fills up and goes green. You must quickly consume food if the bar turns yellow. Your campfire will only be temporarily available and will extinguish after a day or so. You will have to build another once it disappears.
Once you have gathered a supply of resources such as wood, stone, clay, and straw you may want to consider building a house. Check out our How to Build a House page to see how this is done: How to Build a House
You will be able to defend yourself against single monsters easily with your wood club but if you get attacked by multiple monsters you need to run away from them and move closer to a campfire where you will be safe as they are afraid of fire.
It is recommended that you tame a horse as soon as possible as doing so will enable you to travel long distances and explore areas that would otherwise consume a lot of time if you had to walk to them. Horses are easy to find and can be tamed by feeding them a carrot and mounted by using the saddle.
Use the Beacan Portals to teleport to neaby places. You will be able to do this once you have spent enough time exploring a place and picked up your essentials. Check out out Beacon Portal page to learn more about them: What is the Beacon Portal?
Summer is the helpful fairy who will answer your questions and reward you when you complete certain tasks. If you need help from her tap Summer on the shortcut menu and she will appear.
We hope these tips help you out in the game, but for further help, try our beginners guide, we also have some FAQs for Utopia Origin, you can also submit your own questions there for other players to answer.

How can I low my danger score? Or is it permanent |
It reduces over a long period of time. I saw mine go down from a 6 to a 4 before I PKed another player and got an 8. I'm not sure exactly how it works but I think it has something to do with in game days like for example if you have a 5 it takes 5 days to go down to a 4 and 4 days to go to a 3. My best advice is stay in your hearth with plenty of food and water till it goes down or stay outta site from other players. Store away anything you don't wanna lose before going out and use your hearth stone to teleport to avoid people following you for revenge trying to find your hearth. Best of luck to you |
Where do you get the Earthworm for fishing? |
You can get Earthworm by searching clay cliffs which can be found at the edge of a sea/lake/pond. |
