What is the Beacon Portal?

The beacon portal is a big tower that you are able to use to teleport to other locations, it will also protect you if you move close to it. Unlike the campfire which only protects you from monsters the beacon portal will protect you from monsters and also other players.

To use the becon portal to teleport your character to another location you just need to climb on top of it and tap the flashing hand, choose another teleport tower on the map and spend the indicated number of orbs. Before you begin your exploration you need to make sure you take some food and weapons with you because if you die you will lose all the items in your backpack. These items though can be retrieved again by visiting the same place where you died.
