Two Point Hospital is a business simulation game were you are tasked with constructing and operating an empire of hospitals in the fictional Two Point County. The objective of the game is to cure patients of fictitious, comical ailments. You play the role of a hospital manager charged with constructing and maintaining a hospital. Tasks include building rooms and amenities that satisfy the needs of patients and staff and expanding the hospital into new plots. Build your Hospital Gradually

Resist the temptation of trying to build everything at once as you will quickly run out of money. It is more beneficial to take things slowly, start off with the basics - a reception, GP office, pharmacy, staff room, and toilets. Then when these are in place hire a doctor, an assistant, and a nurse. Once you have reached this stage you will be ablea observe your patients' needs, then cater for them as they happen. If you do things this way it will allow you to build up gradually while maintaining a steady income.

Consider the Layout

It is important before you start building your hospital you consider the layout. Try to build the minimum size rooms wherever possible so you can easily improve their prestige and get the maximum use out of the space available. Make sure you leave space for corridors between rooms, ideally at least two construction squares wide. This will ensure that there is enough space for people to pass each other without bumping into one another which slows them down and also enables rooms to be reached easily.

Word Towards Career Goals

Try to work towards your Career goals whenever possible as doing so will improve your hospital rating, unlock new items you can place and earn both cash and Kudosh Points which are used to unlock special items which you will find useful. You can see your Career Goals in the top right corner of the screen.

Take on Challenges

Challenges can earn you some bonus cash and Kudosh as well as improve the reputation of your hospital so make sure you always take them on when they appear. Challenges have time limits so you may have to build extra rooms and redeploy/hire additional staff to get the job done in time.

Increase Room Prestige

A cheap way to improve the overall rating of your hospital is to increase room prestige, this can be easily done by using the Kudosh you earn to unlock the posters and paintings that are flagged. You will be able to place plenty of them in every room until you reach at least Prestige Level 3.

Maintain your Machinery

Always check the machinery in your hospital to make sure it is in good working order and that you have hired enough janitors to keep them serviced. Failing to do so can make machinery explode so make sure you have installed several fire extinguishers in each room that contains equipment so you are prepared just in case this happens.

Pay Attention

Always pay attention to what is happening in your hospital and deal with the problem accordingly. If you see rubbish piling up on the floor you need to add more bins, if you see patients standing around you need to add more seating, and if you see little accidents appearing in the corridors you should look to install more toilets. Also keep an eye on the 'Patients List' to see if there are any problems developing or see if there are any patients that need urgent attention.

Pause Time

Make sure you don't forget to pause time every once in a while to catch up on messages, review the overall situation in your hospital, and make descision about what to do next without a time pressure against you. While the game is paused you will be able to build, hire, and place new items without worrying about patients flowing in. If you find that everything is running smoothly and under control you may want to consider speeding up time so you can get through patients quicker and rack up more cash.

Improve your Diagnosis and Treatment Stats

It is important that you check the 'Staff' menu under the 'Jobs' to make sure that staff qualified for a certain role have been allocated to the correct area as this will enable you to improve your diagnosis and treatment stats which will increase the overal reputation of your hospital in the long run.

Information Tab

Always keep an eye on the 'Information' tab to get an overview of the various factors in your hospital, these include things such as hygiene, its attractiveness, and temperature. You will find in the later levels that maintaining the temperature of your hospital to the correct level is important and you will need to install heaters or air con units to keep it in check.
