The Nintendo DS is a high spec. Piece of hardware and no game makers have really pushed it to it's potential yet. When the console first came out, there were a very limited choice of games. There was two racing games a few block games and a couple of puzzles thrown in but none of them have really matched up to this adventure. Super Mario 64 DS.
Comparable to the the top consoles out there, this game really uses the technology given to great use. Nintendo hand consoles are normally pretty basic block figures but the Nintendo Ds is a huge step in graphic technology. We all know that the PSP will greatly surpass the DS but it is still an advancement.
The great music from the original game is still with us. Voices for the characters make the game a little more playable and the squeks of nature create a good atmosphere. Every different type of game has it's own catchy jingle and as a matter of fact, I'm humming one right now!
A tricky game to get started with and the game manual doesn't enlighten you either. The controls are pretty basic, the usual punching , jumping and, well, eating stuff buttons still work here. It is very enjoyable to use the stylus but I recomend that you use the buttons as it makes the job a whole lot easier.
A fantastic game, one you can pick up and play whenever you like and it will still be all very new to you. The mini-games are really what make this game so addictivly fun and you unlock more as you play through the story mode. Even messing with the charactors faces in the draw mode can keep you occupied for hours.
This game really is the top of the range for the Nintendo DS at the moment. Everything in the game is nicely sown together to create what I like to call "One Heck of a spicy meatball!" This game looks like it is aimed for the younger gamer but I can assure you that everyone of all ages will enjoy the fun inside the small game boundries. Thanks for Reading!
