How to redeem Subterra codes?

2. Walk to the 'Codes' NPC to the right of the gate (see screenshot below).

Subterra Tips

• How do you upgrade your backpack and pickaxe in Subterra?

You must interact with the backpack upgrade and the blacksmith NPC in the overworld and present the required materials.

• How do you travel fast in Subterra?

Simply select the 'To Surface' option above your health bar (bottom left corner). You can also use the 'To Mines' option while on the surface, but this will not teleport you back to the exact same location you were while in the mines.

• How do you rank up in Subterra?

To rank up your character you need to reach the level cap. Doing so will reset your level back to 1 and reward you some chrono shards as well as raise your level cap a bit. Every two levels you will also get an extra ability slot. Your level cap will always be your current rank x5.

• What is the max rank in Subterra?

The max rank is currently 11.

• How do you get chrono shards in Subterra?

Chrono shards can be earned the following ways:

Ranking up Each time you rank up you will recieve a few as a reward.

Chrono shards are used to draw new ability cards from the chrono crystal, which give you new passive abilities.

If you are unable to find a certain raw ore it generally means you need to go deeper. Below is ther order which you find ores:

Gems, shards, and crystal can appear anywhere on the map and the most effective way to find them is to open any chest you come across.

The wooden ladder as it enables you to reach things you would otherwise not be able to get to. Try to always take between five and ten wooden ladders with you.

• What is the collapse in Subterra?

The collapse is when the entire mine resets and you need to dig back down again. All blocks, chests, and everything else resets.
