Pillar Chase Beginner Tips

  • Learn the objectives First

Every Pillar Chase map has different objectives, whether you're collecting items, repairing equipment, or activating locations. It is essential that you learn how each objective works and where it can spawn, as this will enable you to contribute immediately instead of wandering around aimlessly.

  • Stay near the first objective when the round begins

When the round begins, most survivors immediately scatter across the map. If you start on the nearest objective, it lets your team make early progress before the monster has had time to locate everyone.

  • Learn escape routes

Every map has hallways, obstacles, and rooms that can be used during chases to escape the monster. Learn where these things are instead of trying to memorise every corner of the map.

  • Complete nearly finished objectives before starting new ones

Half-finished objectives don't help your team nearly as much as completed ones. If an objective is almost done, it's more beneficial to finish it before moving elsewhere.

  • Keep rotating between objectives

Keep in mind the monster usually checks the most obvious objectives first. Rotating between different areas keeps your team making progress while forcing the monster to spend more time searching.
