One way you can get extra rewards in Sky: Children of the Light is by completing the seasonal daily quests. You will be able to participate in the seasonal daily quests when a new NPC appears close to the portals at the starting hub. If you approach the NPC you will be able to see the list of daily objectives on offer and what you need to complete them so you earn the rewards of more light essences and a seasonal candle which you can then trade for rare outfits that are only available for a limited time. Listed below are the four types of quests that appear each day. If you own an Adventure Pass, two more seasonal dailies will open up for you.
• Social quests encourage you to interact with other players.
• Ecology quests require you to explore and interact with the environment.
• Spirit quests challenge you to find a spirit in each land and relive their spirit memory quest.
• Meditation quests challenge you to find a shrine and leave a note of gratitude.
Seasonal daily quests take place in kingdoms you have already explored but will now have areas that were previously inaccessible which means it now opens up opportunities to get more spirits and stars. The red candles that gave off light essences when you first visited an area will do so again when you revisit them. It is important that you make sure you return to the quest-giver NPC when you’ve completed the quest to receive your seasonal candle rewards.
