Shining Beyond features an innovative job system which enables you to further customize your heroes and help them specialize in certain areas. All the characters by default start out in one out of four basic jobs (Rogue, Warrior, Archer, or Acolyte) which determines their role in combat and can be promoted to more advanced roles as they level up.
