Character Upgrade Guide

In order to upgrade Lo Wang's abilities in Shadow Warrior 3 you need to collect Upgrade Points, which come in the form of little purple orbs. You will be able to see Lo Wang's upgrade paths at the pause menu. Every skill has three different levels that require 1, 2, and 4 Upgrade Orbs respectively. It is recommended that in the early game you prioritize the Chi-Blast and Explosives trees so that you have more versatility in combat. This Character Upgrade Guide will tell you the different paths and upgrades.

Chi-Blast

Upgrade 1 - Wide Tide

Allows more than one enemy to be hit with a Chi-Blast wave.

Upgrade 2 - Chi Regeneration

Decreases the Cooldown time for Chi-Blast Strikes.

Upgrade 3 - Tsunami

Chi-Blast can push away larger enemies as well.

Health

Upgrade 1 - Last Stand Shockwave

On entering Last Stand, enemies get pushed away from you.

Upgrade 2 - Health Boost

Increases your maximum health value to 125.

Upgrade 3 - Health Regeneration

Wang's special ability to gradually regain health over time.

Resources

Upgrade 1 - Spawn Ammo

Spawns Ammo on striking enemies with a sword.

Upgrade 2 - Spawn Health

Spawns Health on shooting or striking the enemy with a Chi-Blast.

Upgrade 3 - More Finisher Orbs

Spawns more Finisher Orbs on killing the enemies with environmental hazards.

Explosives

Upgrade 1 - Elemental Duration

Increases elemental damage duration of explosive barrels by 25%.

Upgrade 2 - Elemental Explosion

Enemies hit with elemental barrels, cast elemental explosion on death as well.

Upgrade 3 - Elemental Radius

Increases the effective area of all explosive barrels.
