Listed below are several Beginner Tips and Tricks which will help you in Shadow Warrior 3.

Don't Stop Moving

Make sure you are constantly moving as not doing so will mean certain death. It does not matter which direction you move as long as you do not remain still and make yourself an easy target for the enemy that move's quick and can swarm you from all angles. Using your dashes, double jumps and grapple hook you have the ability to navigate the combat arenas rapidly and evade potential dangers before they develop.

Use your Katana

Just like in the previous installments in the series the katana can deal a high amount of damage, and is particularly useful when it comes to dispatching enemies in close-quarters combat. You will be able to use it to easily take down the basic enemies in the game such as the Kugutsu and the Shogai with one slice. Keep in mind the katana is also effective at slicing apart frozen enemies and early character upgrades allow you to gain ammo when you strike Yokai with it.

Take Advantage of the Environment

Take advantage of the environment in Shadow Warrior 3 whenever possible as many of the game's combat arena's feature interactive traps and hazards you can use to easily kill lots of enemies. This means keeping an eye out for highlighted buttons that activate traps when you move your crosshair near to them. Traps include floors that drop enemies into spike pits and huge saws that dash across the arena.

Complete Challenges to Earn Orbs

Orbs in Shadow Warrior 3 are used to upgrade your characters' abilities and weapons, make sure you check the Challenge screen to see what challenges are available that will enable you to earn orbs. Some of these challenges are easier than others, so it is recommended that you prioritize those first. Easier challenges include Chi-blasting enemies into spike, multi-kills, and katana kills. Search the Levels to Find Orbs

Aside from completing Challenges, you can also find orbs for upgrades by searching the levels. This will mean going off the beaten path and likely involve having to crouch through a hole or do some kind of jump puzzle to reach them. Even if you can't see any orbs you will know when you are near one by listening out for the harmonic noise they emit. Pickups Respawn

Keep in mind that the ammo, finisher charges, and health pickups that you can gather at the designated areas between sections and the combat arenas themselves respawn in Shadow Warrior 3 and are not a one-time deal. Take advantage of these pickups to keep your reserves high during battle and leave an area with full health.
