• Build Your Team Around Roles

Don't fill all six slots with damage dealers. Anime Expeditions has units that do different jobs, so try to build a team that covers what you need. Use strong damage dealers against bosses, AoE units to clear groups of enemies, and support or economy units when they help your team. Buffs and slows can also be useful against tougher enemies.

• Save Trait Rerolls for Good Units

Don't waste Trait Crystals on units you are likely to replace. If you get a strong Mythic or Secret that you plan to use regularly, save your Trait Rerolls for that unit. Traits can improve things like damage, attack speed, range, critical stats and income, so a good trait can make a big difference to a unit you use often.

• Use Stat Locks Before Rerolling

Don't reroll a good stat without protecting it first. You can reroll a unit's Damage, SPA and Range stats, while a Stat Lock lets you keep a stat when you reroll the others. If you have a good Damage or Range stat, lock it before trying for a better roll. Remember that lower SPA is better because the unit attacks more quickly.

• Choose Your Expedition Route Carefully

Don't just pick the first Expedition route you see. Expeditions can have Defense, Assault, Elite, Checkpoint and Boss encounters, so think about what your team can handle. Keep an eye on the Payload too. It starts with 1,000 HP, and the expedition ends if its HP reaches zero. A harder route isn't worth taking if you can't protect the Payload.

• Don't Waste Upgrade Materials

Don't spend your upgrade materials on every unit you get. Trait Crystals, Stat Rerolls, Stat Locks and evolution materials are useful, so save them for units you actually plan to keep. Before upgrading a unit, make sure it has a place on your main team. This will save you from wasting materials when you replace weaker units later.
