Racket Rivals Tips

• Use Set before a smash

Press E to set the shuttle, then jump and aim your camera down before hitting it. The higher shuttle gives you a better angle for a smash. This is much easier than trying to smash a low shuttle.

• Save your Dash for difficult shots

Press Q to dash towards a hard-to-reach shuttle. Don't use it every time you move, because you may need it a moment later. Watch where the shuttle is going before using your Dash.

• Save Gomu's Freeze for a bad return

Freeze stops the shuttle, so it can save you when you are about to miss. It also gives you time to get back into position. Try to save Freeze for a difficult shot instead of using it as soon as it is ready.

• Use the walls to make shots harder to return

The side walls can change the shuttle's path. Try hitting the wall when you want the shuttle to drop into an awkward spot, especially near the net. This can make it harder for the other team to reach the return.

• Use Spirit abilities at the right time

Jin's Astral Set pulls the shuttle towards you and sets it up, while Gazo's Time Control slows the rally. Use these abilities when they can help you make a good return or attack, rather than using them as soon as the cooldown ends.
