Unique Character Refinements, Fashion Mags, Hearts of Justice, a hint for Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops Plus

Unique Character Refinements, Fashion Mags, Hearts of Justice, a

In conjunction with R-A-Y-M-A-N's hint, I believe what character you get doesn't matter on the difficulty level. I played through normal once, and got Teliko, and never got anyone else on normal. I got every Unique character (besides Old Snake, etc. And Johnny) on hard over about 10 plays through. Hard and Extreme definitely have the most luck. (On a related note, you get prisoners about every 5 stages in hard, if you are lucky, you may find two uniques)
Now for the elusive Fashion Mags:
Everybody asks about Fashion Mags, what do they do?, where are the found? Et cetera. Fashion Mags give you a new move to use in online play. Moves like Hero# and Shrug can only be gotten like this or through collecting all the soldiers ( a daunting task) if you use it on one person, it effects every soldier you have and/or will ever get. These can be found randomly at kerotan points. (There are only a certain amount per difficulty level, so if you stop finding them, switch to hard or extreme)
Then there are the Hearts of Justice.
These have probably been found by most of the addicts around here. (If you go to a kerotan point with a white genome, there is a 100% chance of finding one) but most people don't know what they do. If used on a white genome (only soldier it can be used on) it will change them to a certain color. Changing the color doesn't do much besides make your genome look pretty.
Secret Areas
This is just for fun value. In the prison cell in western wilderness there is a cracked wall, and if you grenade the wall, it falls apart, and there is a pretty much empty room on the other side. (I strongly believe there are other secret areas, if you find any, please drop me a line at [email protected])
And the best character in the game is pretty hard to for anyone who doesn't play very much. If you go into Ap scout and find someone who says you're a newbie or don't have enough exp, max a soldiers exp out, and go back where you found the guy. He'll join you. (provided you have the soldier on your team) He is ranked higher than the Hideochan Radio and Tuchan Princess soldiers.
