Extreme mode help? + WEAPONS ON LVL

Ive beaten extreme mode once, but it's too hard to do it again, Any ideas on how to actually complete it?

And!!!!!

I set my characters up with weapons before the misson, But when I play the misson I'm unarmed! I have to use my Tengu soldiers just to kill someone and I run out of stamina!. Is there any way to carry weapons/items/bodyarmour with you into a level? With that I might be able to do extreme mode once more.. Any help would be appreciated!

- Pete

You need to first off get a good solder (preferably a rescuer or diliveryman),sneek up behind somone(hold triangle),once you grab him press square repeatedly and steal his stuff, also after you beat 5 missions and return to the truck put the weakest (captured guy) first

Okay, here's how I do it.

1. I'm sure you know how to recruit. Do that whenever possible (it seems to me that foxhound soldiers are pretty good, so get those. ) Even when you have good soldiers, still recruit, because they can not only help with your spy, tech, and med units, but also because when you go to the truck screen after a special event, you can usually take a 3rd item off of them.
2. Don't use your toughest guys. Use your second toughest.
3. Train. The exp isn't just to let you know how many times you've used the guys, it ups your HP, STM, and occasionally weapon skills.
4. Always keep a fulton in your inventory. There are some levels you are just terrible at. Mine is guest house with the genomes. If you fulton out, you won't lose any important people, and you keep your recruits, items and exp.
5. Body Armor. Those Genomes can be tough.
6. Stock up early on supplies early. There's always a situation where your running low on health/stamina, and people aren't dropping anything.
7. Don't kill unless necessary.
8. Special Stage. In Stage Number 15 or something there are two advance points. One's normal colored, and one's a light purple. Go in the purple one (they are in different locations) you'll end up in the Level Launch Pad, from MPO. There'll be some soldiers doing some weird dance. Don't mess with them. The advance point is in plain sight. Go to it. You will have skipped Level 16.

And there's no way to bring items into a level. Sorry.

There is a very important technique I guarantee you will find very useful. Freezing. Believe it or not, I passed Extreme 21 times with the help of this. Here's how:
1. Find a gun. Any gun, I personally find pistols the easiest.
2. Find a victim.
You don't even have to sneak up on him undected, but you have to do it quick.
3. Grab 'im.
If your soldier has at least a B in CQC(the knife icon), he/she can grab the enemy by the front. Give the SQUARE button a long press from behind or front(front is better in Extreme) and then press SQUARE and give the analog stick a good flick. He/She will throw the enemy down. 4. Freeze!
Quickly equip your gun (unless a pistol is equipped[you can equip a pistol and grab at the same time]) and press the L button (Lock-On). If your soldier doesn't say "Freeze!" face run towards the downed enemy. Congratulations, you froze someone. Just leave him, he won't get back up, trust me.

If you put them in freeze they can still get back up
And if you shoot close to them they'll shake out items. Dont shoot him if it's not a head shot he'll get up and shoot you
