Silph Co

Description Of Silph Co:

Before you can even think about taking on the Fighting Dojo or the Saffron City Gym, or visiting any of the buildings in Saffron, you must defeat Team Rocket in the Silph Co Building. Silph Co is a massive, eleven-floor structure filled with both innocent civilians and Rocket Members. It is your job to find the Rocket Grunts and defeat them. But since it's such a large building, you better make sure to bring a lot of healing items. There are a number of people in the building willing to help heal your Pokemon, but it's better to be safe than sorry.

The best way to go about this challenge is to challenge and defeat all Rocket Members, as you search through teleportation portals to find the Card Key. Once you have the Card Key, battle all the Rocket Members that were behind the Gate on each floor. And soon enough, you'll reach the top floor by taking the correct portal.

However, if you'd like to speed through the building, there is a way to do that as well (if you're willing to lose out on the experience). SImply run up the stairs to the ninth floor right when you get in the building. Take the proper teleporter to the fifth floor and battle the correct Rocket Grunt that will give you the Card Key to open any Gate. Go back to the third floor and then take the correct warp tile to the Seventh Floor where a trainer will give you the Gift Pokemon Lapras. Face your Rival, and then take the teleporter next to him to get to the top floor to face Giovanni.
