Description Of Mt. Moon:

Smack dab in the middle of Route 4 is Mt. Moon. It is a massive cave, and the largest area you trainer is allowed to explore up to this point in the game. It's so massive, it has not one, not two, but three floors of Wild Pokemon and Trainers. It is also the first run-in you'll have with the infamous Team Rocket, the first of many.

First Floor:

Trainers On First Floor:

Lass - Level 14 Clefairy

Bug Catcher - Level 11 Weedle & Level 11 Kakuna

Super Nerd - Level 11 Magnemite & Level 14 Voltorb

Bug Catcher - Level 10 Caterpie, Level 10 Caterpie & Level 10 Metapod

Youngster - Level 10 Rattata, Level 10 Rattata & Level 10 Zubat

Hiker - Level 10 Geodude, Level 10 Onix & Level 10 Geodude

Items On First Floor:

Potions (2) - Found on the floor of the cave.

Rare Candy - Can be found on the floor of the cave, and will raise your Pokemon by one level.

Escape Rope - Found on the floor of the cave.

Moon Stone - Will evolve certain Pokemon, and can also be found on the floor of the cave.

TMs / HMs On First Floor:

TM12 (Water Gun) - A water type attack, can be found on the floor of the cave.

Zubat - Levels 6-11 - 79% Appearance Rate

Geodude - Level 8-10 - 15% Appearance Rate

Paras - Level 8 - 5% Appearance Rate

Clefairy - Level 8 - 1% Appearance Rate

Basement Level 1:

Pokemon On Basement Level 1:

Walking:

Zubat - Levels 7-11 - 60% Appearance Rate

Geodude - Level 7-9 - 26% Appearance Rate

Paras - Level 10 - 10% Appearance Rate

Clefairy - Level 9 - 4% Appearance Rate

Basement Level 2:

Trainers On Basement Level 2:

Rocket - Level 11 Zubat, Level 11 Sandshrew & Level 11 Rattata

Rocket - Level 12 Ekans & Level 12 Zubat

Rocket - Level 16 Raticate

Rocket - Level 13 Rattata & Level 13 Zubat

Super Nerd - Level 12 Koffing, Level 12 Grimer & Level 12 Voltorb

Items On Basement Level 2:

HP UP - Can raise your Pokemon's Hit Points Effort Values. It can be found on the floor od the cave.

Ether - Can be used to regain a Move's PP, but can only be found with the item finder.

Helix Fossil OR Dome Fossil - A Gift from the final Super Nerd Trainer. The fossil you choose can be revived on Cinnabar Island.

TMs / HMs On Basement Level 2:

TM01 (Mega Punch) - A very strong normal attack that can do incredible damage. It can also be found on the floor of the cave.

Pokemon On Basement Level 2:

Walking:

Zubat - Levels 9-12 - 54% Appearance Rate

Geodude - Level 9-10 - 25% Appearance Rate

Paras - Levels 10-12 - 15% Appearance Rate

Clefairy - Levels 10-12 - 6% Appearance Rate
