Full Review for Pokemon Ranger by kimmy456

Introduction

The first Pokemon game that I played that was different than any other one I have ever seen. At first I didn't know what to make of the game, it wasn't the usual one. It wasn't the normal kind of game that you go and catch a Pokemon but it has a different storyline along with a differetn style of catching.

Graphics

Graphics where okay, they seemed a bit flat and didn't pop out as much when I was playing through the game. The catching and befriending part of the game through has great graphics with it. I found that it was very creative the way that the graphics came to get to make the catching as realistic as the way of catching normal pokemon.

Sound

Sound was eh, it wasn't as creative as I was hoping it would be, and it kind didn't draw my attention like most of the other games that I played. It seemed to repeat a lot with no new turns in it or anything like that. The battle music was also okay but once again it only was battle music it really didn't have much feeling at all in my opinion.

Gameplay

Gameplay was good, it didn't go along with the TV series which was a good thing cause then there wouldn't be any repetition of itself and it made something completely new out of the game itself giving it some creativity to the game following it's own storyline.

Lastability

Lastability was low cause of how the game really didn't catch my attention while I was playing it, I was only able to play it once then I started to play it again but got too bored with it and stopped playing it all together, the game itself wasn't boring just the whole fashion of the game.

Overall

Overall, they game was good to play if you wanted to play it a first time around, other than that unless you were really into the game you may only want to play through it once. I did enjoy playing it but I also can't wait to see how they can't improve it in future games.
