Introduction

Pokemon Gold and Silver is in my opinion,the best Pokemon game ever created! There are new Pokemon and a new region[Jhoto]. In this game you start off in Jhoto,get 8 badges,beat the elite 4, and then you get to go to Kanto! The only down part is that it is hard to beat without a cheating device :{. But other than that the game rocks!

Graphics

The graphics are okay but not brilliant. They did a good job with designing Pokemon but that is pretty much it. Game Freak could heve done better designing Kanto and some cities but other than that everything is okay. Oh,and Game Freak did good by designing the main character.

Sound

The music in this game is actually pretty good. Game Freak made excelent musuc in Jhoto and in trainer battle. I wish there will be a Pokemon game someday when people actually talk though. Game Freak could have also made better with changing the music in Kanto.Overall the sound is good.

Gameplay

In this game you have to do what you do in all the other games,get eight badges,beat the elite 4,but in this game you do something even more ,you do it all again. After you beat the elite 4 you get to go to Kanto! In Kanto you have to get eight more badges. After that you get to fight the biggest boss, Red. He is the guy you were in the games Pokemon Red,Blue,Green,and Yellow. This game is hard though, just to beat the elite 4 is hard. In hardness I would give it a 9.5/10.

Lastability

This game takes so long to beat if you are new. When I first played my Pokemon Silver it took me about three days to get eight badges in Jhoto,it took me another three days to beat the elite four,it took me about two days to get 8 gym badges in Kanto,and then it took me almost a week to beat red. It will take about two weeks to beat the game if you are a beginner.However if you have beat the game or you are using a cheat device it will take about a week to beat the game.

Overall

Overalll This game rocks! The graphics and sound are good, the gameplay is awesome, and the lastibility is really long. If you are a Pokemon freak you should buy it. If you are looking for a Pokemon game to begin with you shouldn't pick it. The best Pokemon game for beginners is proably Pokemon Fire Red and Pokemon Leaf Green. You should buy this game rather than renting it because this game is long!
