You need to go to Http://www.filb.de/games/emerald/word.php?lang=2 on your computer. Once there put in your trainer ID, then customize your own PC background for the gameboy. Then click generate word. Type in that word EXACTLY as it says.
Once you have done that he will say that he is a devon corperation worker and the background you created on the computer will be accessable on your PC. It will be the one friends. Happy customizing!!!
P.S. You can only make one background. If you make two they will both be the second one you made.
