How do you defeat the little things with the lantern when your trying to rescue Neville?

Ron has to shine his light on them until they appear then shoot them a few times to kill them.
It's best to catch them together in a corner because they swing their lanterns at you.
When you kill the first three you'll get another 4 sets of three until they all die.

They are called hinkypunks.
Well, first you use Lumus Duo untill the things are dazed. Then use
Flipendo twice but make sure they don't fade away before your done though.
