After you have completed the mission "doberman" on the map you will get areas that are purple, green and yellow the purple is ballas hood the green is families hood(your gang) and the yellow is vagos hood to take over a hood kill three gang members in the hood you wish to take over

Its is part of your missions before the game ends youll have gang wars and then you can do them...You also have gang wars sometime in the beginning of the game I believe..

You have to kill like kill 3 baller and the other gang and they it will said that you have start a gang war.

Just walk (or drive, cycle etc...) into a territory and kill three opposing gang members and walla!, you start a gang war...
You must be passed the mission where they get you to take over a territory!
But when you pass the first island you will no longer be able to take over territories as you will not even own one tiny little territory. It's part of the story line.
Then when you are almost finished the game you will start to take them over again!!!

I'm here to help well to take a gang territory you simply go to another color of gang it's in the map. Then you go there and you have to kill a couple of gang members so you could start a gang war and then you kill all the gang member and you take the gang territory. All that you need to do is shoot and kill every gangster there. I suggest using an M4 or two Tec9's. They all should die pretty soon.

You shoot a couple of their gang members then thet will start a gang fight, kill the other gang and then you take over their territory.

You find a place where one of your gang rivals has taken over then you start shooting there members and then you will have three waves you have to survive and if you do survive then you get the territory.

All you do is look at the map and find a different gang's territory. Then just kill all the other gang members there. Then the territory will be yours, trust me it works, I do it all the time for fun.
