Question for Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
Is this a new gang-tag problem? Can it be fixed? Please read:
I had double and then triple-checked the gang-tag locations--I knew I had sprayed all 100 tags but my stats were showing me 99/100. Suddenly it dawned on me: I had run out of spraypaint at least once in the middle of a tagging, and thus hadn't gotten the credit for it. I was frustrated, but had some ideas where it might be.
Amazingly I was able to lock on to one of the first tags I checked--finally I was about to complete this frustrating mission! I sprayed it, heard the little noise indicating it was done...and nothing happened. I checked my stats and I was still stuck at 99/100!!! My questions are:
1) Is it possible to have more than one partial tag and still be showing 99/100? It seems to me that this wouldn't be the case--the partial tag I completed should have been the last (they don't give you partial credit for partial tags do they?).
2) I tried numerous combinations of saving and re-loading--even going back to 98/100 so the partial tag wasn't the LAST one--am I screwed?
3) Has anyone else had this experience? Can it be fixed?

I have the same problem I have the San Andreas booklet and I did all of them the first time and when I was finished I had 2 more left. I went through them again and again and again and I did it again today and I can't seem to find it

For Holden and any others:
You can have TWO (and maybe more) INCOMPLETE tags (i.e. Tags you've partly sprayed), and be showing 99/100 in your stats.
Holden13--It's possible you're making the same mistake I did: You went around looking at all the tags and they all looked green. However, a tag that looks all green, may be incompletely sprayed (like if you ran out of paint while spraying and forgot to go back and finish it). You gotta go back through them all, and actually attempt to spray them. If your spraycan "locks on" than it is still incomplete. If you're lucky you won't have to do too many before you find them.

1. 2. and 3.This happend to me on Vice City. I had collected all of the hidden packages and still 99/100. The thing is that it is a glitch that CAN be fixed. Restart your game and before you complete the last mission in the game (The End of the Line) be sure that you have sprayed all of them and collected all of everything for 100%. Repeat:Start over,Find all before end,and there you go.It sometimes works. Trust me

I got the same problem but I sprayed all of them then when I go to 98 says I got sprayed and I spray the another too but still I got 99/100

Same, went and did all 100, but only showed 98 :/, took me over an hour to do, now I have to check them all. AGAIN.

I concluded that because Sweet tags some of them during the mission "Tagging up Turf", it must be a bug, since I've never had problems with photo-ops in SF or Horseshoes in LV. (I "manually" take all 50 pics and pick up all 50 horse shoes each time).
That one game where I decided to go for 100% completion, that last damn tag was all I needed according to the 100% checklist on gtasanandreas.com, so I used a save-game editor to get the last tag.
The only time I cheated in this game, ever, but I felt so dirty - even though I believe it to be necessary because of a glitch.

The reason for this assumption is that I have completed the game > 10 times, and never had 100/100 Tags.I concluded that because Sweet tags some of them during the mission "Tagging up Turf", it must be a bug, since I've never had problems with photo-ops in SF or Horseshoes in LV.
