Question for Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2

I already have the Sparkling fusion option since the first time I played the game before I even started.. I need to know how to USE it in the game. I want to know how to use it not how to get it. Sorry I should have explain a bit more. The way it is that it's showing unlighted in the menu but you can't go to it to use it or select it. Thats why I was thinking that you have to maybe unlock another part or do something in the game to unlock it and use it. Please help me out!!!
