Got o the monster arena and fight don tonberry. Have the other two partners attack don and let him counter attack for 70 - 99,999 damage! It would be extremely wise to also have the auto pheonix ability which can be obtained by collecting 20 mega-pheonixs. When one of the partners is massacred, bring them back to life, and don't worry about healing them. After a couple of times doing this, don will have moved. About his fourth time moving closer to you, have yuna cast out an aeon and finish him off. Don tonberry has around 1 million hp. Which really isn't alot at all. My tidus does 99,999 damage with Caladbolg and I have blitz ace!! It is an easy way to dispose of him!. Once you have won the battle, you should receve about 1 million - 5.5 miilion AP!
