Ever wanted to keep something you can't hold??? hint for Champions of Norrath: Realms of EverQuest

Ever wanted to keep something you can't hold???

Ever wanted to keep an item you have found, but you don't have the strength, or room to do so??? Well I have a neat solution for this problem. It's called a MULE... Typically, mules are pack animals who's sole purpose in life is to carry stuff. This can free up the space you may need for your character while keeping the item "handy" for use at a later time. How do you make a mule? Well, the best race I've found is the Barbarian. His strength bonuses are real easy to get, and his is accessible at a low level.

For my mules, I did some creative cheating... I played the game to the Cloud Giant King, on Champion, got him ALMOST dead, then saved the game. I then imported a level 1 barbarian with all stat points on strength, and equiped with 5 exploding potions from town. With these potions I was able to make short work of the Cloud Giant King. This got me level 50 with all the Stat points, and skill points to go with it.

I distrubited the stat points ALL to strength, and loaded the Endurance skill with all I could. This gave me a level 50 character with the ability to carry about 5000 lbs of items.

With this trick, and the multi player ability of this game, I have created 2 3-player games populated with barbarians doing nothing but holding my "junk". They are named for ease as "Armor" "Weapons Slash" "Weapon Blunt" "Trinkets Small" and "Trinkets Large". This way I can keep all the armor, weapons, trinkets, rings, necklaces, earings, and anything else that sparks my fancy until such time as I need to use them in my game.

Walla, you have your own way to keep all the really good stuff you can never use at that time. One other thing this helped me do is keeping trinkets (Those things you add to the sockets) handy to make these items bigger, badder, meaner, and nastier.

Yes, that means that the barbarian named Trinkets Small is keeping 5 of each trinket that sells for 3999 with 4 exceptions. Those are the attack speed increasers (99 - Fast, 199 - Faster, 1199 - Lightning, and 1999 - Godly). And since they are at level 50, I can import them into any game I can think of starting.

Hope this helps you keep the items you really dont want to sell!!!
