Your Team Level determines what level your heroes are, and their ability to craft higher tier Gems. It is displayed in the upper left hand corner of the screen along with a bar indicating how much experience towards it you currently have. Winning battles, upgrading Abilities and completing quests will increase your Team Level. Your Team Level determines how much energy you have at your disposal as each battle requires a certain amount of energy to participate in.
