All the heroes, enemies and Abilities in the game each has a class associated with them that is strong against one of the other classes. During combat check out the bottom left of the screen to be reminded of the order of elements (Armor (red) > Agility (green) > Strength (yellow) > Magic (blue) > Armour (red)). The Icons on the far right show you what order everyone is going to attack in which gives you insight into what to expect.
