What's the deal with the abyssal ruins, because I don't get it.I mean I have 16/17 plates and all the treasure that can be found in there but I don't understand why else it could be there other than to take up unused information space in the game and is completely useless after getting all the treasure.Another thing is the strange language that is carved into sections of the walls that serve no purpose whatsoever and don't mean anything, and then theres the stupid trap that activates as soon as you enter which after awhile spews a torrent of water at you that pushes you out of the ruins and you have to start all over again which is a little redundent.Using max repel will keep the torrent at bay for a short period of time,it doesn't actually stop it but it does take longer to reach you.I suppose what I want to know is why is it there and what's it's purpose I really want to know.can you help me?

The point of the ruins is to collect every plate and collect all of the treasure (with the Relic Crown being the ultimate goal). You can sell the treasure for a combined amount of over 1.7 million.
Well the writeing dosent mean anything as far as I can see but if you go straigt to the center panel of the runes and face it press the a button, it will open and take you to a different floor( there are more treasures there) however you have to be fast because of the water. Im not sure how many floors there are either.
