Question for Pokemon Soul Silver
Do you think it is possible to give Lugia the griseous orb? I have heard that is how to get shadow Lugia.

You can give that Orb to Lugia, but it will have no effect. It will not turn it into Shadow Lugia. Shadow Lugia can only be found in Pokemon Gale of Darkness.

Shadow Lugia is only obtainable in Pokemon XD. There is no trick, cheat, or hack to change that fact.
The Griseous Orb is a hold item, that means any Pokemon can hold it. However, only Giratina will get any from of boost from it (Dragon and Ghost type moves will increase in power by 20% and Giratina changes to it's Origin Forme).
