Question for Pokemon Soul Silver
Can you beat Clair the Gym Leader with Pikachu? And if so, where can you find a Pikachu. I have tried and tried to beat Clair but I just can't!I have used a Pidgeotto on level 27, a Machoke on level 44, and a Typhlosion on level 52, but I have had no luck!

I don't think Pikachu would help you defeat Clair.
An Ice-Type Pokemon would probably help the most against Clair. You can find many Ice-Type Pokemon in the Ice Path. If you get an Ice-Type Pokemon, I would recommend you train it to Level 40. This should help you defeat Clair's Dragonairs.
An Electric-Type Pokemon would help against Clair's Gyarados. However, Pikachu is very weak, so I wouldn't recommend you use it. I believe Ampharos would be a better choice. I would recommend you train it to Level 40, so you would be able to handle her Gyarados.
Clair's last Pokemon is Kingdra. It's only weakness is to Dragon-Type Moves. There aren't many Dragon-Type Pokemon for where you are at in the game. It would probably be best to simply outpower her Kingdra.
If you get the Pokemon I would recommend and train them to Level 40, you should do fine against Clair. Just to be safe, I would recommend you buy plenty of Hyper Potions and Revives.

You can defeat anyone with any pokemon. The Pikachu needs to be at a very hight level to do so. You cannot catch Pikachu until you reach the Viridian Forest (after beating the elite 4). You would need to trade for one, migrate one, or find one on the Pokewalker course Yellow Forest (event course).
Train your pokemon. You have been doing it all game, and you will need to do it keep doing it.

Pikachu can't beat clair and to get a pikachu you have to past the league and go the the kanto viridian forest to get one

I'm using a Jolteon from the Eevee I got from Bill..... But my Pokemon are to low...

I Used Gyrados For All Of Them Except Kingdra . Ice Fang Should Work On All The Rest Of Them Though
