After you talk to her you have to surf to Cianwood city which is south of Olivine. When you reach Cianwood go to the pharmacy and talk to the guy and he will give you the medicine. The Pharmacy is between the gym and Poke center.

And before you leave Cianwood City, you would want to defeat Chuck, the Gym Leader, where afterwords, you'd get Fly from his wife (who is outside of the Gym)
