You can,you need to complete The Great Pit Of Carkoon,(Episode VI Chapter 2), in story mode.

Hay pokeguy99 first of all I am talking about lego star wars ii "ds" not gamegube. The ds version of episode 6 is called "the great pit of sarlac" and second of all I beat chapter 2 in story and free play mode and I still don't have slave leia. Could some please tell me how to get her thanks

The version for ds won't let you.
