Question for Animal Crossing: Wild World

I have a few questions for you. Please answer if you can! I'm really wanting to know the answers! If you can only answer some than just answer some but please help!

1. In every town, it appears, There is a very random big red flower. It is sibgle with no others with it. In my town and my friend's towns, we all have random red flowers. What is their purpose? I don't know if it's a quincidence or not but flies seem to hang around my flower, and recently it appears it is wilting, for it is all grey. PLease explain it's purpose! I would love to know!

2. In order to get a Golden Axe, You have to trade a "scallop" to Pascal. Alright, is this the wWhite Scallop, commonly found on Beaches? Or something more complicated? Please let mme know!

Question #1- Big red flower? Have never seen one. I know there are red tulips, roses and the smaller stargazer type. I would love to see what you are talking about!

Question #2- The white scallop is one you have to trade for- not the one found on the beach (I've tried that one!!). You start with a red turnip, give it to Wendell, he'll hopefully give you a turban, you give that to Sahara and then, hopefully she'll give you a massage chair- then that chair will go to Tortimer. Tortimer will give you the scallop and then you will give that to Pascal. The above is a perfect scenario... The animals could give you different objects and then you won't be able to get your white scallop. I'm still trying to get this to work after a year.

1. It's more likely a coincidence, it might be a large Tulip.

1. Thats a.... Well I don't no it's name but they appear when you have loads off weeds in your town the only way too get ridd of it is to weed your time and it will evently die.

2. Yeah thats right.

All right here are your answers.

1. It doesn't appear in all towns. I think you are talking about the Superweed. It appears when you have a lot of weeds in your town. The only way to get it is to pick all the other weeds in your town out. Then it will eventually die. The only use for it is to catch the flies, then sell it to Nook. It is impossible to get a perfect enviroment town with the superweed. It is probably wilting because you have been picking weeds.
2. The White Scallop doesn't work, only a Scallop you get from a long trading sequence.
