Question for Animal Crossing: Wild World

Ok, I've tried this one cheat, I have no idea if it was off supercheats but anyway, there was this cheat that said if you send a letter to EVERYONE in your town with a shell atached to it they would send you fruit back, well didn't work for me, also not many people wrote back, all they gave me was some lousey wall papers, can someone please help me.

I also got this pear from one of my towns people and I planted yesterday and today it's the same as it was yesterday. Also yesterday it rained and it still didn't grown a bit. But I did like water it like thirty times, then I time traveled to tomorrow. And now it's dead. HELP ME! (please)

OK. One, it's not a cheat. Two, you're supposed to send fruit. And three, it doesn't always work anyway.

When you plant a tree, make sure that there are no other trees around it for around three spaces. Water it four times. It may sprout the next day, by which time you don't have to water it again.

The best way to grow fruit is chop down a naitive fruit tree dig up the stump an plant in the hole this is what I do an my trees grow every time. I use the native fruit to plant new trees then repeat I now have to many trees lol
