When I make the snowman, do I have to make the girl to make him send me an item or will he just send me one regardless?

You don't have to make a Snowlady. It's just an expression. If you make the Snowman right he will send you a gift.

You need to make the balls of snow really big. -as big as they can go- then put them on top of each other.
