An emotional keyboard is a small bar which holds up to 4 emotions it can be found above the word box in the chat menu. To get the emotions you need to to talk to dr srunk who visits on a random day he will teach you one of a choice of four when you talk to him.

Dr Shrunk is a pink salamander character who turns up in your town on a random day about once a month. Talk to him the first time and he will teach you the shyness emotion. On all other visits he will give you a choice of one out of 4 emotions to learn. There are 28 in all but you can only keep 4 at any time. The emotions appear in a line above the keyboard in your menu. You tap them with the stylus to display the emotion.
