Yeah there is a Golden Timer but it is a total pain to get. You have to get the golden shovel, axe, Fishing pole, watering can, net, slingshot and that's all!(hahaha) it's exactly the same as the timer, only harder to get. But it'll complete your tool set. Once you get all the other golden stuff, talk to tortimer! Good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes there is a golden timer and you need to talk to Tortimer once you own all of the golden tools to get it, but I've never seen anybody get it before.
