How do you get turnips and if so can you plant them plzzzzzzz help thanks?

You get turnips on sunday.outside (some were) there will be a turnip seller. Than she'll ask you what kind you want. Than you select witch kind you need (red or white I think)

Oh,and 4 the 2nd part of the question...i don't know how 2 plant them

On sunday there is a turnip seller you can get white turnips or a pack of red turnips.

Every Sunday an old sow named Joan will be in town. Talk to her. She always asks you if she needs to explain "Turnips" to you, and since you've never met her, you should probabley listen to the old sow's tail. Then she'll give you a choice, "white turnips" or "red turnips". Since your mission is to grow turnips you want to choose red turnips. Plant it in the ground where you'll remember it. Now here's the catch: you have to water it every day. But it's well worth it. Dig it up on Saturday, no later.(Dig it up with a shovel.) Then hed to Nook's and sell it for a whopping 16,000 bells!
