You have to keep buying things for him to upgrade. It is really easy, just sell fruit and keep buys and buying. If you don't want anything you can give it to your town animals or just sell them back to him. ^^

I would come to your town,but you need to leave your town name,your characters name and your friend code.Heres mine.

To get your friend code,go to the gate and talk to Cooper(the one on the right)and say friend code.
