They will just come to your town. I have two cheats for you.
1. You can grow coconut trees on your beach and they usually have really big Bugs on them at night. Take note that winter is Fishing season and summer is where more bugs come.
2. You can cut down all your trees except about 10 and then you will get more bigger and more rare Bugs on them. You cut down trees by having a axe. Take note that after a few trees have been cut then you're axe will break so you will need to buy another the next day. If you can you should go to tom nook and ask for your cataloge and then order about 5 or six axes so you don't have to wait day after day. I hope this helps.
